Hailing from the Bronx, Jason Aviles is a proud alumnus of Maharishi University of Management (MUM), an institution renowned for its focus on consciousness-based education. At MUM, he crafted an innovative interdisciplinary curriculum centered on Youth Development and Social Change, showcasing his commitment to fostering positive transformation in society. During his tenure at MUM, Jason Aviles was introduced to Transcendental Meditation and Yoga, an encounter that marked a turning point in his life. Under the profound influence of Yoga, he underwent a remarkable personal transformation, shedding over 60 pounds and experiencing a substantial improvement in his overall well-being. Inspired by these life-changing experiences, Jason Aviles went on to attain his Yoga instructor certification and embarked on a journey as an instructor. Notably, he has achieved a remarkable weight loss of 100 pounds, a testament to his dedication to holistic health and wellness.

 

Jason Aviles' dedication to youth development and community support precedes his Yoga endeavors. Prior to his foray into Yoga instruction, he dedicated over seven years to professionally educating and counseling young individuals in both New York and Delaware.
